Over time, we’ve grown, but we’ve chosen to protect what makes us unique: craftsmanship, simple recipes, and carefully selected ingredients. We’ve carried these values into a more modern world, open to today’s tastes and a genuine desire to experiment. Our Taralli, Similpane, Sweets, and Seasonal Specialties tell this story perfectly, a meeting point between tradition and creativity. They are products that feel like home, yet bring something new; rooted in tradition, yet reimagined through fresh flavors and unexpected pairings. Mursillo carries forward a family legacy while shaping something new. It’s the pleasure of baked goods made with time-honored methods, crafted for today’s table, simple, authentic, and true. An invitation to rediscover, every day, the beauty of things made with care and driven by passion. MURSILLO, WHO? Where Taste Is Born There are gestures you never forget: the workshop doors opening at first light, hands kneading dough with the ease of those who learned by watching, listening, and living it day after day; bread carefully pulled from the oven, filling the room with an irresistible aroma. Mursillo is born from these gestures, from the legacy of a family with baking in its blood. Our story begins in the 1950s, when the Pezzullo biscuit bakery started shaping and flavoring Neapolitan tradition. In those warm rooms, among baking trays, yeast, and rituals repeated every day, we learned that true quality is a simple craft—one that asks only for time, care, and respect for the finest ingredients. How to Spot Us on the Shelf Blue, Red & Purple One color wasn’t enough for us, so we chose one for each Mursillo soul: red for Italian taralli, blue for Italian similpane, and purple for Italian sweets. Every color tells a flavor. Every flavor tells a Mursillo story. The Off-Centered Label You really can’t miss it!! We’re the ones with the “off-centered” label. It’s our signature style, and also the easiest way to recognize our products at a glance, even on the shelf. The Frame We used to draw it in the margins of our elementary school notebooks; remember those little frames? We loved them so much that we decided to bring them back, turning them into part of our logo, our signature mark. Who made these? They’re amazing! Now these are old-school sweets! Good thing my dentures are hardcore! Who made these? They’re amazing! Now these are old-school sweets! If my teddy bear tasted this, it’d pass out! Can I have more… like a thousand? Does this count as breakfast? If my teddy bear tasted this, it’d pass out! This tarallo deserves world heritage status! If heaven had a flavor, this would be it! Oh my goodness—this is pure bliss! Stop everything! This tarallo deserves world heritage status! Mursillo after Mursillo… we grew little by little, like the best leavenings. The years go by, but the family is always the same, just like the other ingredients: values, passion, and the desire to do things well in the present. It was 1950, and the Mursillo oven baked every day, without interruption. 1950THE BEGIN From a small bakery to a growing company. The 1970s mark the boom years: the Pezzullo family reaches a daily production of 100 quintals of bread. 1970THE BOOM The 1990s are years of growth. New assets are introduced, and the company evolves from a bakery into a business specialized in baked goods production. 1990THE TARALLI FACTORY Today, we are Mursillo, a project that, with slow leavening, is ready to make its bold entrance into large-scale retail. Look for us on the shelf! 2026MURSILLO
<thumbnail_url>https://www.mursillo.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/immagine-chi-siamo.jpg</thumbnail_url><thumbnail_width>697</thumbnail_width><thumbnail_height>958</thumbnail_height></oembed>
